Choral Repertoire: Soleils de Septembre by Lili Boulanger

Soleils de Septembre (Suns of September) by Lili Boulanger is a single movement work originally written for chorus and piano, transcribed here for chorus and harp by Jacqueline Pollauf. No changes have been made to the vocal parts, but in transcribing the piano part for harp, Pollauf has made adjustments for color, texture, balance, and register. This lovely short work showcases Boulanger’s beautiful and evocative compositional style. 
 
Available here are the full score and the harp part as a single download, both from the book Choral Repertoire: Harp Parts, compiled and edited by Jacqueline Pollauf.  The harp part has been re-notated with modern notation and includes helpful harp-specific information: pedal markings, cues, enharmonic equivalents, and some suggested fingerings. Page layouts have been carefully optimized for page turns. A textual introduction is also provided with background information and performance notes.
