Choral Repertoire: Harp Parts

Choral Repertoire: Harp Parts

$40.00Price

Choral Repertoire: Harp Parts, compiled and edited by Jacqueline Pollauf, is a collection of complete harp parts from seven choral works. The book includes music from six standard choral pieces as well as Pollauf’s own transcription of a piece by Lili Boulanger.

The parts have not been simplified for ease of playing, but each part is re-notated with modern notation and includes helpful harp-specific information: pedal markings, cues, enharmonic equivalents, and some suggested fingerings. Page layouts have been carefully optimized for page turns. A textual introduction is also provided for each part with background information and performance notes. This collection is an excellent resource for harpists from students to professionals in learning, rehearsing, and performing these works.

The book contains: Soleils de Septembre by Lili Boulanger, Ein deutsches Requiem by Johannes Brahms, Vier Gesänge by Johannes Brahms, Requiem by Maurice Duruflé, Requiem by Gabriel Fauré, Choral Hymns from the Rig Veda by Gustav Holst, and Oratorio de Noël by Camille Saint-Saëns.
